It’s been 3 years of streaming Honkai Impact 3rd. It has had its highs and lows. I’ve reached all the competitive goals that I’ve set for myself, Nirvana retain on both the EU main account and the NA alt account (non-spender), Top 100 on EU for the better part of 2021 and so far all of 2022. I probably will still continue to stream the game because thus far I’ve still enjoyed the process (most weeks and most abyss cycles).
Still, I still have the itch to do other stuff. I want to deep dive back into the pursuit of metal guitar and shred. I want to play other games. I want to do more Gunpla and plamo (Gundam and other plastic models). I want to learn sculpting and 3D modeling/printing. I want to return to producing artwork (even against the current trend of AI art).
Going into 2023 I’ll be relocating, and that will hopefully give me a better atmosphere to produce work with, but potentially a logistical nightmare in getting set up (getting set up and reestablishing personal infrastructure feels annoying for me).

Some new work that I did for a local game designer. He is working on a tabletop role-playing rule set.
2015 post-mortem
I had originally wrote a draft 1600+ words covering the last five years, but then I realized this week it was no longer necessary. All my previous blogs cover the last five years fairly well, but the short of it is that 2012 defined my life in a negative way, and I never forgave myself for spending so much just to re-learn what I had already received for free. I am finally able to let it all go this year.
Finally getting a day job has accelerated this year and I really haven’t made a lot of time for finished work, other than the Blizzard Heroes of the Storm contest piece. Most of my sketches were posted to Instagram as I still haven’t taken time to scan my sketchbook drawings going as far back as October 2014.
My goals for 2016 will be to set up an oil painting space in my room and start working more traditionally hereafter, hopefully achieving a good balance between digital and traditional.
